Details: On Sunday 051808 at about 2112 hours, Officers from the Moreno Valley Police Department responded to a shooting in the 24000 Blk. of Atwood Ave.

Upon arrival, the officers found a 24 year-old Hispanic male in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound.

The male, later identified as Juan Gonzalez, was transported to the Riverside County Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 2152 hours. The investigation is on-going.
